I doubt there are that many. You are right in that our death certificates are notoriously unhelpful. Indeed, they are the least useful of all English genealogical records. The Society of Genealogists, on whose Board of Trustees I have the privilege of serving, has long argued that death certificates could list the place of burial. Will it ever happen?
