    3. Hi Ann & Cecilia, Thanks for the licence info - it's a bit early for our family I think. I have just discovered an 1828 directory which gives the inn keeper of the Vine as E. Williams! So, I guess Edward must have died between 1828 &1841. I wonder if he had any other occupation? I'm not sure which newspaper report you're referring to - the only one I've seen is the 1871 one reporting the demolition? All the best ........... Ros.
