There are 8 Bizzill/Richardson births registered on the Island in the 1850/1860s, though no marriage beforehand which would suggest this is the result of the Portsea marriage in 1847. 1851 census: Charles (Journeyman Cordwainer), Martha and son Charles (11 months) living at Woodbine Place, Cowes (parish of Northwood). Charles born Newport, Martha in Cowes. (Ref Class: HO107; Piece: 1662; Folio: 62; Page: 24). In 1841 Charles looks to be in Cowes, transcribed as Bazell, aged 15, an Apprentice, but what type not recorded. He is in the household of William Wise, a Carpenter, but there is a Shoemaker in the previous household (Ref Class: HO107; Piece 407; Book: 5; Civil Parish: Northwood; County: Hampshire; Enumeration District: 7; Folio: 37; Page: 15) By the way referring to Joy's message, Charles & Martha's son Charles was actually Charles Edward according to the IWFHS BMD (born 1850), not Charles Reginald. I searched on the National Archives website and there is a Royal Navy record of service for Charles Reginald Bizzill born west Cowes who I think is Charles and Martha's son (going by 1861 census).
