Hello Isle of Wight listers, I am wondering who currently is researching the FLEMING family of Godshill/Roude area. At the head of my tree is John Fleming bn about 1729 who was a Yeoman of Roude. He married Mary ROGERS in 1754 at Godshill I have never been able to find anything further back than John's assumed birthdate so I thought it might be a good time to ask the List if anyone else is researching this family which traces to me via my mother, her father having been born at Godshill at Sheepwash Farm Phil White in New Hampshire Roots in Sussex and IOW
