I am trying to track the SMITH and PORTER families over the last 50 years without much luck. Any body have any info please? The family was PORTER and Caulkheads from 1700 to 1900. Then one married a Soldier SMITH at Freshwater. I have them until the 1950s but it is difficult to find the correct SMITHs in BMD etc as you can imagine. Deerwatcher
