Hello, My thanks to Jon, Vanessa and Mary Lou for responding. Cass John WOODFORD died 1 April 1927 aged 81 and buried at Shalfleet 6 April. The IOW County Press 9 Apr.'27 report on the funeral named Norman PLUMBLEY as a nephew. I was not aware that he remarried to Janet HILL after the death of his 1st wife Mary Martha AMEY (died March 29 1911)but now I see that the funeral report mentions a widow. Vanessa, you may be correct in thinking the Plumley relationship is through this 2nd marriage. I have now found a Norman Plumbley born in 1896 at Calbourne from a HILLS spouse - something to delve into. Thanks again. Terence
