As noted by Eve and others, my website went down last July when my isp pulled the plug, and I have yet to find it a new home. Although I restrict research to Island photographers (there are enough of them to cope with!), I do try to include details of any studios they may have had on the mainland. However, about 6 years ago I met up with a George Malcolmson who was researching photographers from the Gosport, Portsmouth & Southsea areas who took photographs of naval subjects. He was considering extending this to all photographers from those areas and setting up a website similar to mine, but I don't think it ever materialised. Still, it might be worth dropping George a line to ask if he knows anything about a particular photographer from those areas.
