As Jolliffes have been mentioned, I've often wondered if anyone has found a link between those on the island and those on the mainland, especially around Donhead and Wardour in Wiltshire. My RANN grandfather married a Wiltshire JOLLIFFE and there are island JOLLIFFEs elsewhere in the RANN tree - complicated relations!?!
