I am really hoping to find someone with a link to Clara nee Morris and Danial Frank Scovell who were both born Godshill and married 1889. They had a daughter Dorothy (Dora) Constance May just before they were married. Several children born after the marriage. Dorothy emigrated to New York 1910. She met up with her uncle (Clara's brother) Henry Morris and his wife Rose in Westchester. N.Y. Dorothy/Dora married David Clifford ( an Irish immigrant) 1916 and they had a daughter Dora as given in the 1930 census then age 13 years. David died Stamford, Fairfield, in 1934 and the mother Dora died Connecticut Valley hospital 1936 and is buried in their cemetery. My problem is that I cannot trace the whereabouts of the daughter Dora who was about 19 years when her mother died. Had she already died? Got married later. Go to live with Henry and Rose who were childless themselves? The brick wall has been insurmountable, so I am hoping that someone recognises this family link and hopefully may be able to help me find Dora. Thank you and kind regards. April nee Morris. UK
