I have found him on the 1891 Census in West Northdown, Kent, England being a Farm Labourer & on the 1901 Census in Margate, Kent, England as a Street Organ Grinder and he was blind by this stage. James married my cousin Eliza Ann PEARCE in 1888 in Thanet, Kent, England. Eliza was born in the July Qtr in 1866 in Margate, Kent, England and was Bapt'd on 15/7/1866 in St John The Baptist, Margate, Kent, England to William H PEARCE and Eliza ATWELL.
