Right, the scripting isn't working, so that complicates matters. The spelling should be Fryslan with a (think it's called) 'circonflex' or this ^ sign. It's one of the two northernmost provinces in The Netherlands. Frisians have a different genetic background, different language (2nd official language of The Netherlands, more closely related to English) and different culture from the rest of The Netherlands, which we refer to as Holland. Fryslan (also known as Friesland) is part of The Netherlands, but don't ever say the Frisians live in Holland. It's like the Basque and the Spanish, or the Welsh and the English. We even had a little 'revolution' in 1958, demanding to be allowed to speak our own language and use it in official documents, courtcases and such.
