Hi I have asked before, but just would like to know in case anyone missed the message, if anyone has any old photographs of St Lawrence in the 30s especially Chapel Road, as my Great Grand father had a boot repairers there in the mid 30s - William John Penney. I have seen some old photos of St Lawrence before the road was widened and it looks totally different a lot more village like with narrow roads and lots of little shops and terraced houses.
