Yes, Jennie Burgess is her name. I was lucky enough to run into her by chance when I was there, and she was extremely helpful. She also showed me the baptism and marriage records for the church. At that time at least, these were still in the possession of the the church and had not been sent to a central archive or library. The church archivist (whose name I can't of course remember) has a transcription of all the graves in the church archives. This proved very helpful for some of the hard to read stones. I have covered roughly half of the Graves, I copied every readable stone. I stuck to the main entrance, later stones are here, and around the church itself, where the older stones are, the sandstone memorials have worn away. It a lovely place, quite well kept by the paths and only 30 odd graves which are completely covered by Ivy. I am not sure of the policies in this graveyard, to remove the ivy, so left these. Some stones have to be left for enviromental reasons, but no one around to ask today. I will do my best to finish the rest of the churchyard before the end of the summer.
