I'll think youll find that the Coastguards Cottages were down on the Sandwich Road, on the sea side just north of the Ebbsfleet turning, roughly where the nature reserve is today. The cottages, two of them if I remember, were still there in the late 1960's, when I used to travel the Sandwich Road. This area comes under Minster Disrict.
