Dear IOT Rootswebbers, I am trying to find out something about the history of Rimpton School, Reading Street, St. Peters, Thanet. This was at the time a private school, and I think the building still stands, although is now a private residence. My Grandfather worked there in the 1930's, as a gardener / groundsman, until, as far as I know, it was closed. My Grandfather then took another job (in Sussex) - knowing the date of closure of the school would help me to put a date on when he and his family moved. Any information, pictures, stories, etc would be much appreciated.
