..has an autobiography out - and the first 100 pages or so describes life in post-war Ramsgate. Chapter 1 is entitled 'Life on the plains' - the plains in question being the Plains of Waterloo. I don't think it will help anyone in a genealogical sense but she does give a lot of places name checks, like Vyes the grocers and so on. A nice read. Richard
