    3. Hi Paul. I looked through some records online (the Barry White Thanet pages) and did find both marriages. However, there is no recorded death for Stephen Wales, and the marriage record for James doesn't say Jane is a widow. I think it more likely the marriage with Stephen didn't ' work out ' and/or she just fell in love with her brother-in-law. ;o) There are no baptism records prior to 1801 on that site, so I wasn't able to see whether Stephen and James were brothers. It's highly likely though. Hope this is of some help to you. Friendly greetings, Kya Milo Paul Bishop <paul.bishop19@btinternet.com> wrote: Hello Saskia I see you have been researching the Wales family and wondered if you can help me please? From my family I have a Jane Bishop who was married to Stephen Wales on the 10th September 1818 in Birchington and on the 14th September 1819 married James Wales. I have assumed that Stephen and James were brothers and Stephen must have died soon after they married! Would you be able to help with any information on them?
