My branch of the Tottman's has been traced to Canterbury in the early nineteenth century. In the 1850's John Tottman appears to have moved his family to Ramsgate, where it flourished and appears to have disappeared in the 1950's when Gerald Tottman died. In between times there have been many that I have been able to trace, but there are a number that I cannot.
