If anybody has access to marriage records of Saint Peters, I would dearly love to find out whether the James Wales who married Hannah Foster 5 Dec 1797 was a widower at the time of his wedding I'm having a sneaking suspicion that he is the same James Wales who married Elizabeth Fowler 23 Sep 1794 at Saint Peters! That only leaves the problem whether not people who shared the same grandfather were allowed to marry. Would that be 'related in the 4th degree' ? I have no idea!
