Hi Richard, I also purchased a copy of Mockett's Journal recently. I have to say that although it has a lot of detail in it I was very disappointed with it, it seemed to me to contain a lot of information that wasn't specifically local. It's probably due to the fact that I have always seen Mockett's Journal mentioned but never seen it, my expectations were greater than the product. Having said that I would like to congratulate Michaels Bookshop for making copies of these old books available. Another one I always wanted to see was John Lewis's Antiquities of the Isle of Thanet and the three volumes that Michael produced didn't disappoint. It just goes to show that you cant please everyone. Laurie Bridger
