Hello Suzannah The original Cuxton House School in Bairds Hill was next to the Hermitage, just up on the left after going under the bridge. The house is still there. During the early fifties, they decided to expand and took over the Georgian house next door which I believe was Bairds Hill House. Unfortunately this was knocked down after the school closed and a block of flats built on the site. Kristin

Thank you. I would dearly love to find pictures of the School for my friend. There could be some in old Broadstairs picture postcard books but am yet to locate one. I'm sure a walk that way will improve my knowledge of Bairds Hill.
