Two suggestions, one, Contact the Ramsgate Society as the Editor Terry Wheeler has a huge interest in the High Street and its Buildings. http://www.ramsgate-society.org.uk/cgi-bin/contact.cgi Also, you can try and locate the property on a map, coinciding with the years your grandfather was in residence there, then see what is either side.
