Dear Marie, I suspect they're lurking in King St, Ramsgate and aren't on the census. I can normally persuade a database to give up it's secrets, but not in this case. Parts of the census for King St are damaged and sometimes people just aren't counted. My family in 1891 are not there. I have an address from a birth cert date 1891 and that address is not in the census. The SYKES family are near the Coburg Inn in 1871 and I've paged back and forth around there in 1861 and can't find them. That's how I know pages are damaged. In 1851 George SYKES and Mary STEVENS are living in the same household in Margate. Interesting she is shown as born Belgium!!!
