Hi Mary, In case you didn't know, when you order a certificate from the GRO and include additional search data ie parent's, spouse name etc., and if it is the incorrect certificate because those additional details don't match, the GRO will email you and refund about four pound back into your bank account. Of course this only works if you definitely know a relevant name to put into the additional search section. At least it saves money. Cheers, Lesley (Australia)
