Hello Listers I am new to this list. My immediate ancestors are from County Durham, but my great great great grandparents were John and Arabella BEALE nee LYNE of Margate. They are listed in Pigots Directory 1839 as 'Baths'. I am trying to find out John and Arabella's parents and am hoping that someone on the list has a connection. Mary In the 1841 census, Arabella Beale is listed as being 60 years old and not from Kent which would suggest that Arabella was born between 1777 and 1781 . There is a 1780 IGI christening entry for an Arabella Line: Arabella Line / Christening: 20 Sep 1780 - Saint Giles, Reading, Berkshire, England / Father: William Line / Mother: Sophia The mother's name is Sophia.
