Trying to pick up where I left of two years ago ( long Story) if anyone else has the Offens and Pounds in the same tree I'm your man so to speak Kent and Hull ,Yorkshire Josi
Hello Josi, I have an OFFEN database that includes:- William (also known as Wilkin) Blackwood OFFEN born c1839 in Ramsgate, Kent, the son of Wilkin OFFEN and (I think) Mary Ann ANSELL. William aka Wilkin was married in 1859 to Mary Ann POUND who was born c1840 in Poplar, London. She is the only POUND I have in my OFFEN file. William aka Wilkin was in Ramsgate in 1841; he was a fisherman in Hull in 1861; Master in 1881; and had a Fried fish/Coffee House in Yorkshire in 1901. I am still seeking seafaring OFFENs, or related families, that were in Pegwell Bay around 1910.
