Dear John, I have a William Richard Mortley, born about 1847 at Margate, who married an Agnes Ann Wren from a branch of my Sandwell family. At the 1881 census, William is a coastguard in Lincolnshire. Agnes and William had four children that I know of. I would be happy to exchange info if this family is of interest to you. William Richard Mortley was son of William Richard Mortley and Mary Elizabeth Churchman. Baptised St John 21 May 1848, father of Labourer of Margate. Parents married St John 12 Oct 1847.
