Perhaps his job involved travelling to various clients/custormers thus him having to take lodgings on occasion? He can be found on Ancestry to but Ancestry's transcription of his name leaves a lot to be desired .... He is listed as ARY STEVENS SYLVES !! Either search for this name or use the 1891 search facility on Ancestry for piece 749 folio 72 page 48. either method should find him. BTW wife Rachel and family are in Ramsgate in 1891.
