William was b 1848 in Sittingbourne Kent,on the 1881 census he is a police constable in Margate,living at 25 Dane Hill Row,with family.by 1901 he ha left the force How can i find information about his time in the force,could there be somthing in the local paper about him.I am unable to travel,so every thing has to be done on the internet.
