I missed finding that Edward Rapson was also a Margate Mayor, Suzannah. Henry's father was named Edward Rapson and I think this was the only Rapson family in Margate so the 1868 mayor was probably Henry's father. Such politically minded people -- that makes three mayors of Margate: John Bayly, Edward Rapson and Edward S. Wootton. I tried to look at the Mayors of Margate website but it is no longer available.
