Hi all, My 5th g grandmother Elizabeth SLADEN b 11 April 1763 Margate, bapt 24 April 1763 St John, Margate. She married 22 Jul 1780 St John, Margate, Kent to John Hewett. I have family for John Hewett. I have the following only on Elizabeth SLADEN: Marriage: HEWET John, St Nicholas = Elizabeth SLADEN, otp, Banns 22 Jul 1780, Mathew FOX, Sarah FOX Parents: Henry Sladen and Elizabeth Piddock ( SLADEN Henry, otp & Eliz PIDDOCK, Stonar. Banns only 8-22 Jun 1755) Marriage: 11th October 1755 at St. Mary, Minster on Thanet I have a feeling that sometimes the Sladen was spelt Sladden?? Is there anyone out there who can provide me with any information on either Henry SLADEN or Elizabeth PIDDOCK or their families?? It would be lovely to have the additional information.
