COLLAPSED ON STAGE IOTG 23rd Jan 1948 Taking part in the pantomime "Aladdin" at Margate Hippodrome on Monday afternoon, George FALCOON, leader of acrobatic team Les Falcoons, collapsed on stage. He was suffering from a severe attack of flu, but was able to carry on with his act at the evening performance. On Monday 90 patients from Princess Mary's Hospital, Margate saw the show as guests of the management and the following day 35 residents of the British Legion Home, Maurice House, Westgate were entertained. Following the performance which finishes a four week run, tomorrow, Saturday), the management will present straight stage plays by touring companies. The first play will be Michael Kallesser's "Children of Wrath" which opens on 2nd February. Margate Local & Family History
