Apologies if this comes up twice, but there seems to be 2 other replies since my first post, and no sign of mine. -----Original Message----- From: Derek [mailto:dereks@amapv.freeserve.co.uk] Sent: 19 December 2010 17:43 To: 'isle-of-thanet@rootsweb.com' Subject: RE: [Isle-of-Thanet] Westgate Farm - Hezekiah Goodbourn Joan Westgate Farm isn't in Barry White's Thanet Farms list. Hezekiah is shown as resident in Westgate in another listing. I lived in Westgate as a boy and my Scott family worked as Ag. Labs in Acol in the early/mid 1850's. If he worked at an Acol farm and lived in Westgate he would likely have walked to work. Hezekiah also listed as Goodburne. A George Goodban working as an Ag. Lab. At Bedcock Farm, Crisp Road, Acol in 1891. I have a Goodban on the very edge of my Tree, Garlinge area. There was/is? a Westgate Villa at Acol with a Hennah in residence. I assume that Ellanor 1821 and Elizabeth 1833 are DOB's? Can't find Ellanor in B White and burials of 3 Elizabeths, of Acol 27years 24apr1836, OTP 80yrs 17nov1868, E Goodburne OTP 84yrs 5oct1842 don't match either.
