Hi Suzannah, I am going to try looking for information about my Maternal Grandmother again. Her name was Clara Chapman, she was born in Croydon in 1856. She had one son Albert Edward who was registered under the name SHORT but I cannot find any marriage for her. She may be under the name "Stanley" or "Short" I know she died in Margate at number 10 Duke street in 1940. There are various stories about her being a cook but she seems to be at this address when she dies. What would be the best way to find more information about her whereabouts before this.
