Funeral of Mrs E YOUNG Isle of Thanet Gazette 23rd Jan 1948 The funeral of Mrs Elsie Brooks YOUNG, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs C T CHAPMAN of 26 Southwood Road, Ramsgate who died the previous Sunday, took place at Ramsgate on Thursday last week and was preceded by a service at Christ Church Broadstairs. Mrs YOUNG was 41 years old and was married at Christ Church last year. The Minster (the Rev R H Belton) conducted both services and mourners present were Mr R YOUNG, (widower), Messrs C G and N E CHAPMAN (brothers), Miss W CHAPMAN, (sister), Mr and Mrs G POWELL (brother in law and sister) and Mr K PAGE (brother in law).
