Among his bequests were £1,000 each to the Charing Cross Hospital, St. Thomas's Hospital, and Westminster Hospital, to endow Captain Joseph WOODWARD Circus and Variety Beds. for use of circus and variety artists, or actors and actress of the dramatic profession, and £1000 to the Salvation Army, upon trust to provide testaments for circus and variety artists, or actors and actresses. The residue of his estate he left to the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen and the Music Hall Benevolent Fund and Institution.
