    3. 1881 census, John Langston Miles Cottages By the way Mary Parker I think is still living in Thanet with her husband Victor Emptage (the chap she went with when my dad joined the RAF)The family Parker owned Parkers Fish shop (wet fish) in Margate, my aunt says they were quite well known. Like you I absolutely love the little stories that pop up. Where do you read the old newspapers?
