Found on another forum to help pinpoint it more exactly - can't find it marked on the 1910 map of Margate on site Suzannah pointed you to. > Hi Jeannette, > Dorset Place is/was next to St Johns Church - from 17 Charlotte Place to Church Square - But on the 1872 Ordnance Survey map on the Margate History site you will find Dorset Place marked running along the North of the graveyard to St John's Church.
