Don't know if it's any help, but St. John's Church in Margate has A LOT (apparently!) of old records...not sure how much they would have put onto the net...they do have their own website (as you prob know!) so may be worth asking if you haven't already.. Hi all, I have George Palmer born 1763 Margate St. Johns marrying Sarah Bolden also born Margate St. Johns. Some of George & Sarah's children bore middle names that were obviously surnames, perhaps of forebears. Can anyone tell me where the connections were to CROFTS and THOMPSON? I understand there was a big fire at some stage andmost were lost then. My daughters attend St Gregory's school too!
