Oops, looks like on the original posting of the BUDDEL grave I put that he died 1883, it was 1873 as below. Edward was born 1800 and Ann 1802 so from c.1820 on? Edward was a Tile Maker in 1841 and running the New Inn at Minster in 1858 (Kelly's Directory) and 1851 1861 and 1871 Census. Eldest child I could find (1841 census) was Harriett aged 16, so c.1824/5. It would seem that one of Edward and Ann's son in law Oswald Puckridge who married their daughter Ellen b.1837 in Greenwich in 1868, was at one time, a Jack the Ripper suspect! Their son Edward Puckridge is staying with grandmother Ann S Buddel on the 1881 census! Anyhoo, I digress, the marriage had to be between 1820 and 1824 Regards Suzannah Sacred to the memory of Edward BUDDEL Born 13th July 1800 Died May 29th 1873 Also Ann Saxby BUDDEL Born 24th July 1802 Died 4th May 1886 The beloved wife of the above Edward Buddel Both of this parish. ----- Original Message ---- From: Brad Rogers <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, 30 August, 2009 12:01:53 PM Subject: Re: [Isle-of-Thanet] Buddel Marriage On Sat, 29 Aug 2009 23:23:30 EDT [email protected] wrote: Hello [email protected], > Seeking the marriage date of Ann and Edward Buddel.
