Can anyone help me find out - what happened to Sarah Elizabeth Finn daughter of Francis Finn and Sarah Foster? Sarah Elizabeth Finn was born about 1835 at Ramsgate. Her twin brother was Charles Francis Finn. They were baptised in November 1835 at St George’s Church, Ramsgate. She is listed in the 1841 Census living with her parents, her sister Ann Finn aged 14 and twin brother Charles Francis Finn aged 5 ½ years at the Red Lion Inn, King Street, Ramsgate. In 1851 Sarah E Finn aged 15 is still living at home with her parents and younger sister Ellen R Finn aged 9 at the Red Lion Inn. I descend through her brother Walter Foster Finn who was aged 12 in 1851 and was a pupil at a school in Ramsgate. I have not been able to locate a marriage or death record for Sarah Elizabeth Finn. Hi Mary, In case you didn't know, when you order a certificate from the GRO and include additional search data ie parent's, spouse name etc., and if it is the incorrect certificate because those additional details don't match, the GRO will email you and refund about four pound back into your bank account.
