It's my understanding that Discretion Howard Isbell died in 1848, not 1818. Her tombstone must be getting hard to read. Within a few miles of each other, on and around Zacks Fork Road in the Grandin community, there's Grandin Baptist Church, which opened in 1925.... "Grandin Baptist sits atop a hill, surrounded by mountains... " In the cemetery at its side, former members lie in the peace, among them Discretion Isbell, who died in 1818 at age 85."
