Alvertis Isbell, also known as Al Bell, is former co-owner of Stax Records and President of Motown Records Group, and he wrote the song "I'll Take You There." He was the Winner of the Grammy Trustees Award and was a Grammy nominee for Best R&B Song. He now hosts a radio show, "Al Bell Presents: American Soul Music."
