Frances Taylor Isbell, daughter of Dr. Gordon Roswell Isbell III, is in the news again: "Isbell among inaugural class of Alabama Schweitzer Fellows" http://www.gadsdentimes.com/article/20160329/NEWS/160329840 and continues to inspire others. Frances is a third-great-granddaughter of John William Isbell who married Sarah Roden in Madison County, Alabama in September 1816. John was a son of William and Sarah Isbell and grandson of Zachariah Jr. She is my fifth cousin once removed.
