Malcolm MacLeod Isbell reached the top of Mount Kilamanjaro yesterday, Sept. 8, 2017. His aunt Jacqueline Isbell-Jones was visiting me yesterday when she received the news and photos on her phone. She had received several reports and updates on his progress up the mountain earlier in the day and the day before. I think he's 24. He's the son of David Timothy Isbell and the older brother of Junior Olympic figure skater Jedediah Isbell. They descend from William Isbell and Ann Dillard of Goochland County, Virginia.
