Hi Al, I have a Thomas Irving in my line, born Annan, Dumfriesshire about 1839...he came to USA about 1859, and may have been the Thomas Irvin that was Naturalized at Cannelton, Perry Co., IN in Oct 1864. My Thomas married Letitia Long of Lexington, Fayette Co., KY in late 1869 or early 1870....she was dau of David Long who died 1849 perhaps in IN or KY..........Letitia lived with GF Samuel Long Sr. of Lexington from infancy........Letitia and Thomas had 3 children between 1870 and 1876. He apparently left family around 1885 was never heard of again, although family legend says he returned to Scotland about that time.........Anything sound familiar??? Hal
