Does anybody have an Irvin (Ervin) family that lived in Jeffereson County, WVA during the early 1800s? I'm still and forever it seems trying to track down Jonathan Irvin who married Harriett Coons in Jefferson County, WVA in 1826. They are in the 1830 WVA census but lost Jonathan after that. The story goes that they moved to Ohio where Jonathan died. Harriett moved on to Illinois. On one census that listed James Henry Irvin (son of Jonathan), the census taker wrote that the father (Jonathan) was born in Pennsylvania. How grateful I'd be if this rang any bells with anyone out there. Maryln Tetzlaff
