I am desperately STILL searching any info on Jonathan Irvin who married Harriett Coons 26 Oct 1823 in Jefferson County, WVA. They remained in the area until after the 1830 census. They then moved on to Ohio, I suspect either Fayette County or Morgan County. Jonathan died sometime in 1837/8. The couple had at least 4 children, one dying while young. Katherine, Mary Virginia and James Henry lived. Harriett moved on to Logan County, Ill where I find her living in 1850, listed as Harriett Ervin. She then married Mr. John Reed. If any of these sounds familiar, please contact me. I do not know Jonathan's parents or any brothers or sisters. I suspect Jonathan may have been born in Pennsylvania. Maryln Tetzlaff
