    3. Thank you for all the work you have done on the ARDOUIN family. I very much appreciate it. I can claim little credit for the early ARDOUIN research. When I first became interested, many years ago, I contacted the only ARDOUIN in the London telephone directory who put me in touch with her grandfather EDWARD ARDOUIN. now deceased. He had written a very interesting account of his research which is deposited at the Huguenot Society of Great Britain and Ireland, The Huguenot Library, University College, Gower Street, London WC1 6BT who have since been very helpful. I am sure they would be happy to send copies of the very extensive Family Tree and to help you in any research you might be inclined to carry out. I am most impressed with your excellent English language. I am ashamed to say that, like most lazy English my French is deporable. Particularly sad since I am of part French descent. At the age of 85 I think it is probably too late to start ! So that makes me doubly grateful to you. Now, having gone back so far, I would love to find contemporary ARDOUINS who might be interested in their descent and with whom I might share my research. I look forward to hearing from you, but there is no hurry. I realise that there are other things in life than Family History, interesting and absorbing though it is. With good wishes, Kathleen Ward. ----- Original Message ----- From: Kathleen Ward <Kitward@btinternet.com> To: <IRVIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: 07 July 1999 06:29 Subject: Re: [IRVIN-L] James Irvin > Ed Don't forget the other spelling IRWIN - you might miss something.
