Hello, I am following the lead of others in introducing myself as this is a new list and introducing myself. My name is Nancy Irving, I live in New Hampshire and my Irving family is from Massachusetts (near Boston) via St. John, New Brunswick and back to either Scotland or Ireland or both. My father was John Fremont Irving of Sommerville, MA His father was Linus Dudley Irving b.1873 St John NB d. 1948 Brooklyn NY His fahter was William J. Irving (or IRVINE) b. abt 1846 m. Anna Seeley in Portland, St John Co, NB Aug 1867. Please let me know if any of you may be working on the same line or have any info. I took a trip to ST John this past Spring and found the Seeley family back to their ancestors in 16th century England but had no luck on the IRVINGS other than the Irving family of Irving Oil but I don't believe it to be the same family.
